2504 maybe carb

Put new plugs electronic ignition and cleaned gas tank new sediment bowel screen and fuel filter.and new carb kit.tractor starts runs for bout 3 minutes then dies.just like ran out of gas.not sure what else.could float not let enough fuel down to run.stumped jim

Use a spark tester to monitor spark as it's running, then note if spark quits as engine is dying.

Obviously, if spark continues as it's dying you've then ruled out the ignition system and can concentrate on the fuel system.

I do not know that tractor as such but simple trouble shooting goes a long way as to figuring out what is going on.

Run it till it dies then check that you have a good blue white spark at the center wire of the cap and at all the plug wires that jump a 1/4 inch gap or more.

#2 if it has a carb drain plug pull it and make sure you have a steady flow of gas that will fil a pint jar, Of course if it has a fuel pump it is harder to do the carb drain test.

#3 when was the last time you serviced the air filter seen then clogged up etc. and cause odd problems

Did you clean the new needle valve and seat before you installed it? If you didn't, that is most likely the problem. Needle valve is sticking.

The elbow that the fuel line attaches to that threads in to the carb is a fuel strainer assembly and is often overlooked when cleaning. Take it out and check it that maybe what is slowing your fuel flow.
