Farmall super m steering bolt size

Hello, I have a farmall super m that I am switching over to a wide front end. Does any one know the size of the bolts that go into the bolster of the tractor? Since the tractor currently has a narrow front end the 4 threaded bolster holes have no bolts in them. Thanks

do your measuring by adding the thickness of bolster plus amount for threads. easy , u have the thread size there already.

Parts catalog shows 3/4"NC X 4-1/2", alternately 5-1/2" long, extra inch may because of option spacers. Parts catalog isn't clear on that.

Items #35, 35, 37 are of interest.
Parts lookup

Do yourself a big favor and chase the threads with a tap prior to running a bolt into the holes. Plus, reach up into the holes with a screw driver and dig out any dirt and grime that may be in there which will prevent the bolt from fully seating. Those threaded holes haven't been used for 60-70 yrs.
