International 240 Utility Steering Gear

Looking for a steering gear for a 240 utility. My tractor has power steering. I have found a 38 and a 50 tooth set. Does anyone know which one fits the power steering model? Or does it matter? I haven't tore mine down yet to see which one mine has. Been to cold to mess with it. Thanks

The parts catalog lists the 38-tooth gear for "Farmall 240", and an alternate gear (tooth count not given) for "tractors with adjustable wide front", which I suppose translates into the "International version" of the 240. NO mention of power steering vs. gear tooth count option option that I can see.

So it seems the 38-tooth version is for the "trikes" and the higher tooth count version is for the wide fronts.

Parts list splits into Farmall 240 and Utility 240. Yes it is the 50 tooth for the utility. Part #46

Matt, looking back at my link to the CIH parts list, It seems most parts are the same for power and non power steering. The list indicates when a part is for power or non power, if different.
