His name was Hugh MacKay (correct spelling) if that is who you are referring too, and he lived in Strathroy, Ontario Canada. Don't recall when he died but we shared a lot of off-forum emails and the last one I retained in my saved file was in August 2009. He passed away at some point fairly soon after that or there would have been more emails I would have retained. Although I never personally met Hugh in person as we shared a lot of common interests with our Farmalls through emails. I know Bob M who participates on this forum met him and his wife Marge one time and even posted some photos on this forum, Hal.

i thought it was hugh mckinnie if im thinking of the right person, as i remember his last name . he was posting this fall. the other hugh has been gone for a while.

If I remember, He lived north of Shreveport close to US 71 highway (I remember this as I live along 71 south of KC MO) and the address given matches.

The date of death was about 2 weeks after his last post. Also, the obituary says "H.C. loved tinkering with his tractors and tending to his pets."

It just about has to be him.

Hugh McKinney from here on YT. If so, that
is too bad, I knew he was going through a
lot, but didn't know it was that bad.

back in june I gave Hugh my phone number the first time he called me he said he was in the hospital and should soon be going home, after he was home he called a few times as he was working on the 1586, he sent me text on july 4th and said it was running , I didn't know how sick he was , the first week of January I sent him a text wondering how the weather was, no response, I wondered then about him . he seemed like a very nice man during our talks on the phone steve
