Sunday afternoon found what the problem was with the 1586 I bought at auction last summer, the differential was shot beyond what I imaged. thanks for the help you guys, now to start lining up parts and seals etc. I am going to replace the pump also and when I took the top cap off under the cab all the fount bolt were finger tight only and the back needed a 3 foot breaker bar to get them lose so someone was in there so I think a person need to check clearance on everything to make sure its right. I sure I will have more questions so thanks again.

appears like the guy did a lot of spinning with one side the way those spider gear pins and gears are worn. your right, the diff, will need to be all set up again.

Are you replacing the rear hydraulic pump you better replace the MCV pump That lube the differential Most the time that is caused by the no lube to the differential it doesn?t matter if it?s a 15 or 10 or 14 if lube is not getting to the diff this will happen in that why I told you to check the differential first Only time I?ve ever had the brakes go bad on those when the guy rides to brake all the time But when you get it all back together check and lube pressure
