Can the hydraulic handles on a 300 be removed?

In the process of repainting my 300. I have the dual hydraulic system on it. Can they be removed? The inside handle looks like it has set screws on it. But the outer handle doesn't.

Yes, they can. It has been awhile since I did it. But, if I remember correctly in order to remove the outside handle there is a roll pin or set screws on the end of the shaft near the hydraulic valve under the hood. Once it is removed the whole outside shaft and handle is removed all in on assembly. Then you should be able to get at the inner handle.

Hope that helps

Yes.I just did that. remove the handle assembly from the valve stack.only 3 bolts and 3 cotter pins to remove. The center handle is secured with 3 tiny roll pins. The other two are self evident.BTW,you will have to unbolt the dash and move it out of the way.
