3pt for Farmall 350

Where is the best place to find a 3pt hitch for a 350 Farmall. I looked at Tonys Tractors but one youtube video said that there was clearance issues between the lift cylinder and the pto engagement mechanism. Saginaw website says they no longer are in production.

Can you weld/fabricate? If so,make your own.If not, enlist a buddy who can.Measure one,dig through the scrap pile and get after it. I am currently building a 3point on a 400. It's the 5th or 6th one I've built over the years. The first one was 35 years ago on a SuperM. Still have the tractor,3point still works perfect. It's my pattern for all the others. Each one is a bit different, but they all work equally well.If you decide to build your own,I can help 'advise'. That might be the way to go. I can buy most of the parts localy. The only thing I would have to fabricate is the lift mechanism and a frame to hold it together. However I've seen 3 points for sale in the past in the $500 range. Of course now that I want one they are no where to be found. Sod Buster

I made everything except the swivel balls.Either made leveling cranks,or used cat.1 top links. Use heavy angle for the upright frame, bolt to the axle clamp that holds the hoop drawbar. Use 2"shaft for the rockshaft. 2" pipe for the pivot bushings.Use one cylinder(3 1/2,or 4"),it can be either side of the pto. It's really not hard. A lot of work,yes.Hard,no.

Problem is I havent welded in years. I just seen a used 3 point off a Farmall on craigs list fir $400. Only problem is it is about 5 hours away. In Lacrosse. Wisconsin. But my F-I-L lives in Rochester and according to google thats only a little over an hour away. Maybe I should make a road trip. Spend a couple days at F-I-L. IDK Sod Buster

Where are you located, Sodbuster? I am located in southwest Minnesota. I might be able to help you out. I have essentially a brand new Saginaw 3 point hitch sitting on the back end of my Super M Farmall. I purchased this in 2003 or 2004, and the only task I have ever used it for was on a rear mount grader blade a couple times. I also have a friend of mine who has one built by Cornhusker, which looks similar. That one has obviously been used, but the last time I saw it, the hitch looked to be in fairly decent shape. Either one, we might be able to find a way of getting this to you either meeting somewhere or shipping it.
