F-12 FLOAT SETTINGS

Hi:

Can anyone tell me where to measure and what measurement should be correct on my dad's 1935 Farmall F-12? Thanks.

float setting 1-21/32" to 1-23/32" holding the top of the carb with the float hanging measure from bottom of float to under side over cover where the gasket sets not inside. oldiron29

when you dont have the float level measurement, invert the top half of carb so float resting on needle just eye it up so the float is sitting level. bend float arms as required. you want it sitting level.
other measurement is the float drop as in other post.

Turn the fuel bowl cover upside down and measure the distance from the gasket surface on the cover, to the bottom (now the top) of the float. The measurement should be 1 21/32 to
1 23/32.
