Ok, my gas 450 won't crank. I've been trying to trouble shoot. I'm getting 12.9v from my battery, the starter was checked out by the local shop. I checked resistance on the new starter button, good there. The tractor has a key ignition switch and a starter button. Not sure if that was original. The switch had 3 positions, plus what acts like a crank position.
The guy I got it from said from stop position turn it to 2nd spot then hit starter button. That's been working until now. It's not clicking or anything.
Anyway, i can't get resistance anywhere on the ignition switch... but I'm no electrician.
Any ideas? The local shops don't have an ignition switch, don't wanna order one if I don't need it.
