A cold Saturday morning here in southeast Minnesota, just another day. We may just get above 0 and into the 20s the next couple of days. Just read on Tractor Talk about anti-sway on a JD 2555 with a rear blade, Tire Chains Coming Off. JD Seller had and interesting home made remedy on a tractor of his-criss crossing chains on the inside of the lift arms. However, it will not work on implements using the PTO. So it has me thinking, are there any good home-made ideas of anti-sway for my 3pt hitch on my 574 when I am using my 6' Bush Hog mower. I am not out there whipping around but I do get more lateral movement than I care for. I have priced out new anti-sway brackets and arms for the 74-85 series of tractors, right around $1000. I have people at a couple of used part salvage years keeping an eye open. Have any of you developed or used something for anti-sway of the 3pt hitch on the 74-85 series tractors? Thank You in advance!!
