Hour meter

I've seen quite a few Farmall's but I bought this super M with a hour meter. Is this common?

I have one just like it on my SMTA, and it still works.

So does this one. Has I original IH bolts in it, but never seen one before!?

We have a Super MD with a meter like that on it. First one I had seen. I am guessing it was an IH option?

yes pretty common on the diesel's, super W6 and super M models.

I also have one on my SMTA L.P.
It was an option but more common on diesels

Have one on my Super M, called a service meter, also had the electric Hobbs hour meter I was going to put on my Super C but got 75 bucks for it on Ebay.

How many hours is yours showing? think mine says 89??

The one on my super M is around 6000 hours ,which probably sounds right. When I restore the tractor, are the meters usually red or left the aluminum colour like the one in the other picture?

more an area thing than common. in our area guages were the norm they had a round dial
