i finely broke down and bought me operators manuals for my 449a planter and my 460 and they came in today.
after glancing thru the 449a manual, i found some things that i had set wrong like the row marker. so in a cold, slow rain, in my bath robe, bare footed, i went out and adjusted my row markers and check where the chains on the drive sprockets are. I'm gonna have to make some adjustment there to get the seed spacing that i want.
dad told me long ago, "when all else fails, read the instructions."
