The hydraulic lines in the steering column under the hand pump are leaking at or near the couplings in the steering column (not at the hand
pump couplings). It?s leaking in the area of item 17 in the parts diagram. What is the best way to remove the hydraulic lines from the Mcv to the
hand pump to repair or replace them? Thanks.

If a hole is rubbed you can braze it. If a crack at the fitting, replace. A hose may be adaptable in that location. They are tough. Get some right angle wrenches (maybe even bend or grind an existing wrench),stand on your head and get after it.

Thank you for the response. Finally got it done. There are two access panels to get to the lines. Took the fittings off at the hand pump, but had to disassemble each section and reassemble by section to reinstall. Too hard to line up fittings and make sure no cross threading without doing so. Hope to tighten up and test when weather gets better. Thanks again.
