carb throttle shaft and bushings

Cleaning the carb on my Farmall 300 and noticed there is some play in the throttle shaft. I don't have a dial indicator (yet) but I would say .005". You can feel it but there is almost no visible movement up and down. Should I replace the bushings? What is the best way to get at the bushings since they are in almost blind spots? I guess if I would remove the end plug I may be able to knock them out, but there is not much "meat" of the bushings exposed to get at them. Where is a good place to get them? I checked McDonald carb but it appears they changed the website and is a little harder to navigate. I haven't found them. I found the throttle shaft but not the bushings.

Thanks in advance,
Brad

You're right they have made major changes in their website.
I followed International parts and typed "bushing" in the "Search Within". You could try the same under Zenith parts if it's a Zenith.
Give them a call or send an email. I have found them to be very helpful.
Would H bushing fit?

Unless you have idle problems lots of them are running okay with that much play. May need to size a replacement. If it's the gasoline carburetor with idle mixture screw near top in the manifold flange the bushing has no passage holes in it like a SH, M etc. Throttle tube to governor does have a seal down inside that will help with extra air being drawn by the front bushing if tube gasket seals at carburetor though. Wasn't used on earlier models and is often overlooked.

Thanks for the input. It ran great at idle. When I would start the tractor it would throw drops of wet soot until the exhaust got warm. And I could not leave the gas on because it would leak. Hoping this fixes both.
