Have another question on my Super C governor. On the Case/IH schematic, I see there is a spring, axle pin & bumper stop on the at the end of the cam/dist. gear. Apparently, these parts are internal to the end of the shaft gear. The only part visible is the spring, which I can see through a small hole on the shaft. What purpose do these parts serve?? I have ordered a spring and a retainer/seal, and need to look into boring out the throttle leaver hole and install a brass bushing. The thrust bearing and all other parts seem to be in good shape. Thanks to all of you who responded to my earlier post.
