radiator removal on super m.

I'm sure there are several ways. Drain plug is on right side up in front bolster. One bolt to remove on each side that goes up into bottom of radiator. These are up inside 2" access hole in bolster.
Disconnect steering shaft at ujoint at the gauges. Remove cap on front of bolster at steering shaft. I don't think you have to remove cotter pin and nut on front of shaft. Turn shaft out front of tractor and out of radiator. All that should be left is hoses.

You will need to unbolt the fan shroud from the radiator. Be VERY careful lifting the radiator out from between the shroud and the bolster. I recommend a large piece of scrap carpet, a sturdy cloth bag or something. You'll need a buddy to help too. I removed the radiator from my 400 and neither my buddy or I remember bumping the top tank but when I put it back together there was a fracture, not even a dent or puncture in the top tank that lined up with the top of the bolster. I managed to solder it to 99.9% sealed. I will find out this summer while mowing if my solder job will hold. Probably when we separated the top hose from the radiator or tractor it tipped back and bumped the bolster, be careful!
