Some interesting IH tractors to sell at auction on December 15th. This one in particular -- IH 7588 4wd tractor, fully equipped cab, 18 spd. trans., 3 outlets, 3 pt., 20.8-38 tires w/ duals, shows 5,583 hrs., SN 2930001U000501 RARE SN #1

I have no interest in this sale just passing along the info -- http://www.sullivanauctioneers.com/auction/large-absolute-

I drool at the thought of the super 70 series entering mainline production.

Rumor has it that CIH is working on bringing the 2+2 design back... If you don't here from me its because the men in red & black suits took me away!

There were reputedly only two examples of the 7388, 7588, and 7788 tractors ever built.

I think that I once read where there were just two of those 7588s built. The guy that had #2 was wondering of the existence of # 1.
