Hey guys looking for temp gage with short lead
have 1948 Farmall C the bracket is up behind coil
every where I look there 72 inches long Thanks

I have a 53 Super C. Got a new gauge off this site. The sensor is located right below the thermostat housing. It has 2 clips that the tube runs in right above the spark plugs. Then runs below the battery box and into the panel with the ammeter, ignition switch and light switch. 72" sounds like that is about the correct length.

That is where they mounted the temperature gauge on the Farmall "A" and "B" tractors. They have a much shorter lead! The 72" lead on the "C" tractors is intended to go to the instrument panel by the operator. If you order one for an "A" or a "B" it should fit okay. It might be a little long - because they mounted the bulb on the water inlet on the left bottom of the engine - but you can make a loop or two and it'll fit okay.
