Sickle Mower ID?

Picked up a sickle mower. Is this a model 100, 1000 or what? I know a lot were called a 100. Need to purchase a manual.

1824D serial number off pulley @ bar. I think the last was a D!

Thanks guys, need a new belt but it works. Don't seem to have any slop in the box.

If you need parts like the belt, bar parts, repairs of the head, etc., call Rouse Rakes in Burwell, NE. They are great plus they manufacture all the wobble heads for the mowers built today. The do repair work on the heads like yours. You can buy a complete knife from them for less money then you can buy the sections and put them in yourself!!! They also have a lot of extra parts like a grass block for the end shoe, adjustable hold downs and etc.

Being a fast hitch it would be a 1200 series a 1300 is 3pt 1000 has the tail wheel.

This is definitely a Model 100. I have one just like it with the original owners manual and the owners manual is for a 100. The 1000 and above had a full rear shield. The 1300 was a 3 point model with a full shield. There were 3 types of 100 mowers, one a 3 point, a trail behind and a 2 point. These did not have a rear shield.

That is a very early 100. Has the pressed steel shoe
and a 7/16 bolt holding the sickle pin.
