I?m replacing a bend pushrod on a 350 utility. And having a hard time finding the correct adjustments/ tolerance and what order to adjust them. Thanks in advance

the spec. is .017 hot.(i think), get the cyl. you are adjusting on TDC on compression stroke. you can feel the compression pushing against your finger as engine is being rotated slowly. i just watch the running mate for each cyl. being on the rock as its called. one valve will be closing the other one starting to open . this way i dont remove the spark plugs. best to start with #1 cyl. and just follow the firing order 1342 as you adjust each cyl. accordingly. i like prefer this method as i feel its more accurate.
the other way is like this... get #1 cyl. on compression at TDC then adjust valves 123 5.
then get #4 cyl. on compression at TDC adjust valves 4 678.
