Saved from the scrap!

1949 Farmall H. This thing was on its way to the scrap yard. I am not a tractor guy, but I hate seeing old cool stuff disappear. There will never be another farmall H. The engine cylinders have been honed. The crank has been turned. New camshaft bearings installed. Head rebuilt. Rear tires look new. Everything is here. It's still obviously a project, but has to have some value. I would love to trade it to someone for a cub, but would also just be willing to sell it. Don't want to deal with the hassle of parting it out. Any ideas what something like this is worth? Thanks for the help.

Sorry the pics didn't make it in the first post--- figuring out how to do this was the hardest thing I've done all week. Hope it works.

(quoted from post at 18:37:57 12/01/17) You can buy running ones for $800. If you get $300, take it.

Wow, That's depressing. I like smokepole's assesment a little better.

You say you don't want the hassle of parting it out. Apparently, you don't want the hassle
of putting it together, either. If someone else takes the hassle, they won't want to pay
much for it. See what kind of offers you get.

You're not too far away.. I can't find your contact information, but I'm interested in at least the tires. Please give me a call: 517-two-five-six-7132. Thank you!

Your could sell the tires and rims, maybe $250 to $400 a pair for the rears and $50 a pair for the fronts if they hold air and are not too weather checked. The rest could be scraped, maybe one ton to one and a half tons left of it at $80 per ton? Load it onto a trailer before you take off the rims so you can haul it.
