How do I adjust the pto ? it will turn slowly with no load but when I put it on my auger it would not turn it THANKS TP

There?s a port on the left side of the pto put a pressure gauge in that port it sould be 240-300 psi with it on there?s a nut on the valve make the spool valve shorter that will make the pressure go higher it sound that the pto needs rebuild I?m doing right now I live in iowa
