Have a restoration project going on what we believe is a 1924 Model 20 Industrial McCormick Deering. I am looking for a carburetor for it. Specs call for a Holley No. 351 single barrel carburetor. Any help in finding one would be appreciated. To date I have not been able to find one.

Here is your carb https://www.ebay.com/itm/1924-1930-McCormick-Deering-Farmall-Ensign-Brass-Tractor-Carburetor-Core/253055547447?epid=2110843291&hash=item3aeb493837:g:Gp4AAOSwa81ZcQto

I'm curious as to where you discovered that your carburetor should be a Holley. I believe
most all agricultural 10-20s had Ensign carburetors, that bolted on with three bolts.
Although, might some of the very first ones bolted with two bolts? How many bolt holes does
your intake manifold have? I'd be interested in seeing some photos of your industrial
version.

You might try Alderson Tractor Parts, in Sigourney , Iowa. They have a lot of older
McCormick Deering ag tractors, but might be able to steer you toward parts for you
industrial one. Good luck.

does it have a carb. on it now? it would be the brass international ensign carburator that goes with that tractor. dont forget international pretty much had all their own stuff. they even had their own injection pumps on the early diesels. there was an aftermarket kit for those tractors, called the ROBIN manifold. it had the exhaust going up through the hood and the brass carb was replaced with a smaller looking one. i will look on one of my 22-36's as it has the robin setup to see if there is a name on the carb. but from factory it is definity the international ensign carb. also crawl under the tractor and look up under the front of trans. and u will see the month day and year stamped there.

Rustred-I've been doing a little quick research, and I'm thinking the industrial ones used the Holley 351, because of the foot throttle setup. Anybody out there have an industrial one, that can clear this up?

I borrowed these photos from an old post on the Smokstak website. This might be the Holley
351. It was on an industrial 20.

i see , that is quite possible then if it has a foot throttle. i dont see any governor set up on this carb, but it kinda looks like it belongs there. interesting, keep digging.

I have a McCormick Deering Model 20 Industrial. The manifold setup - although it has a cover on is very similar! The carburetor
setup is much different ! I believe that there is at least 2 different setups ! I will post a picture soon ! Mine also has the
foot throttle on it and is connected to the carburetor and governor linkage comes around front of the block ! Mine also has hard
rubber all the way around ! I will post picture soon !

This is a picture of my Model 20 Industrial and it show to the manifold setup - with the original Zenith carburetor !
Maybe others will comment ?
