Hey guys have new set tires 12-4-36 will not have fluid how much tire pressure Also front tires think they are 5:50:16 tire pressure Thanks

The pressure is dependent on radial or bias ply construction. With Bias tires, the sidewalls will not bulge much but the tread bars will need to all touch the ground. it will have a longer contact patch. With radial tires The patch will be some shorter, but more easily full width. Thus they will make a more square contact patch. Pressures vary from 20psi to 12psi, and depend on tractor weight. Give us the tractor model and weights on it brand and model of tire, # of plys, and age if they are old new tires, and we might be able to recommend actual pressures. Jim

start at 8 lbs. and go from there increase if needed, depends if your pulling implements or just riding around with tractor. i have been in tractor pulls with 6 lbs. of air in rear tires.

For common rear tractor tires, I have found recommended pressures to are generally about the same as tire width. 12.4 tire would be about 12 psi. Get an owner's manual for your tractor and it will give the recommended tire pressures.

Your 5.50x16 front tires should have the recommended MAX pressure stated on the tire. Probably something like 35psi.

rear tires will have a range of 12 to 16 psi, I run 14-16. With 6 ply tires you can run up to 20 psi but need to keep complete bar contact on the ground. Drive tires across dusty smooth concrete floor, dust should cover the bar from center completely to the outside edge. 32-35 for 4-ply fronts, 42-45 for 6 ply.
