464 gas oil leak

Hi all- Couple of questions on my 464:
Because I'm new at this, I'll describe the location of the part where I have an oil leak: There's a cover plate behind the distrubutor and coil. It's about 18" long and is fastened by 8 screws. There is an oil leak coming from behind this plate. What is the plate actually called, and is there any danger in removing it? Gasket recommendations?

Also, I'm having the gas tank lined. The PO had removed the gas lines due to rust in the tank. Can anyone help me with routing new lines to the fuel pump? I'm assuming copper lines. The tank has a glass sediment bowl and one line hook up on wither side of the tank.

Thank you!

Copper lines are not recommended as they can and do work harden and fail. Steel lines are best and easily shaped with a bending tool that limits kinking. Put a 1 turn loop in the line to allow for fitting and expansion and contraction. Jim
