38 Inch Rims For F-20

Good evening. Was wondering if anyone has a
recipe for putting 38 inch tires on the
cast centers of a Farmall F-20. I heard of
using Cockshutt rims but I don't know where
to find these rims. Any help on this matter
would be greatly appreciated.

Get some F-20 steel cut offs from salvage yard. No one wants these, so you can probly pick these up for iron price. Cut off the 36" rims (that is what will likely be welded on them). Then simply weld a 38" rim back on by adding some sort of material onto the spokes to lengthen them. Just a thought if you can't come up with anything else. You can then in turn sell your caste iron center wheels. Especially if the current rims on them are good.

weld some 'ears' on the inside of the rim that will reach the boltholes on the cast wheels.IIRC,there 6 5/8" holes.a drop center rim will fit perfect on the cast wheel.

F-20 has 8 holes for rim to bolt to hub. Drop center rims from an H or M will work you need extra clamps and weld some round stock or something on half the clamps to take up the space so they will clamp down tight enough on the rims, I have seen a few F-20s done this way.

NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER!!! weld rims with tires mounted. the results will be explosion and death! Go to Utube and look up welding rims with tires attatched. BOOM!!!!!
