Need help on finding where hydraulic fluid seeps into engine

Hi Folks
Following up on a post I made previously. I have a Farmall 100 and I have hydraulic fluid seeping into the engine oil. Several folks here said that it was likely an easy gasket/o-ring to replace but I cannot find where this gasket is located. Can someone either post a picture or a short video showing me where this gasket/O-ring is located so that I can correct the problem?
Many thanks!

The only way hydraulic oil can get into the engine is from the pump. It may just need a seal replacement but its also possible the shaft has a groove worn in it and will need a sleeve or worst case a new pump. Any place in the system with o-rings would leak oil to the ground.

As noted, the pump is below the distributor on the front of the engine. The seal is on the drive shaft to the gear is the problem. There is no timing of the gear to the drive gear, no worries. Jim

Hi Folks
I am still not completely sure where I should be looking for where I should check the seal where the Hydraulic fluid might be getting into the Engine oil. Here is a picture...is it here or or close by?
Thanks
Ramon

Trying to post the picture again but compressed to the right size

If you can't infer where it is from the posts maybe you should take it somewhere to get it looked at. No offense, but you may end up making something worse as you have to remove the lines and the pump to get at the seal.

Yes You are literally touching the pump, no that is the line, pump junction. Remove the lines, remove the pump, seal is on the back side of the pump.

Hi Clint
The challenge I have is that I am actually living in Poland and it has taken me a few years to even find a
mechanic who is brave enough to even look at my tractor and the guy I found, while really great, doesn't speak
English so getting specific work done is always a serious chore. So in this case, I really need to be quite
specific about what needs to be done. Fortunately , I bought a hydraulic gasket kit last time I was in the US
but I was hoping to just focus on fixing the things that I knew where likely messed up, as I don't want him to
mess with things that are okay as it might introduce new problems.
So is the seal you are talking about on the right side (the other side of the pump where my finger is
pointing) of the pump where it seems to attach to the tractor.
Thanks
Ramon

I guess that would be a challenge.
When you remove the pump top right and bottom left bolts. The other two hold the pump together. It is pretty straightforward. Use a pick or screwdriver to pull/pry the seal out and tap the new one in. Check the shaft to make sure it's not worn as said above.

Hi Jim
A picture does tell a thousand words, now I understand the type of seal and the location. That diagram/parts library is an incredible resource.

Clint
I walked my mechanic through the location and the method to replace.

Now I'll be crossing my fingers all goes as planned. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Dziekuje (thanks in Polish)
Ramon
