Manifold on an A and 100

Will the manifolds exchange between an A and a 100. I've got what I think is an air leak on the 100 I can't find and would like to find out if its the manifold itself. Both tractors have new manifolds. My A runs fine so I know that one is good. I've tried every way to leak test the 100 around gaskets and don't find a leak.

I think they will swap.. But before you go to the trouble, do these outdoor tests. Using a propane torch with the nozzle removed (so only raw propane comes out) start the tractor and using a medium flow of propane, track the propane pipe all around the intake and exhaust gasket, as well as the carb to manifold gasket. The leak will show up as a change in speed and sound. Using a small rubber tube, track the sound of suction by again moving the tip along the interface of the manifold to head and carb gaskets. The other end should be placed near your ear, not in it!! Next, swap the carbs from one to the other, Then as a last resort, the manifolds. If no leak is found in the first two tests, set the valve adjustment to be sure it is not a tight valve. Jim
