Farmall C won't stay running

Have a 48 C. Installed new battery, coil, points, and condenser. Also had the 6v generator and carb rebuilt. Problem is that it will start fine but only run for about 3-5 minutes before it dies. After it dies, I choke it and hit the starter and it fires right back up again.
I've tried different throttle positions but it still won't remain running. Any ideas of what could be causing this. Could it be something with the governor?

I should also add that I checked the fuel tank, fuel bowl, and tubing to the carb. The system was very clean.

How about the screen in the fitting that screws into the carb? Use Old's test, take the drain plug out of the carb and let it run into a can, it should run a steady stream until the tank is empty.

Thanks. Starting over after your advice, I tore everything apart again. I found a restriction in a brand new fuel hose I bought from the local auto parts store. Who would have thought!!! Running good now.

Things like this just drive you nuts. Who ever heard of a new fuel hose with obstructions. You assume it's good, furthest item from your mind. I don't know how much time I have spent chasing things like that down.

[color=darkblue:df4a38bd9e][/color:df4a38bd9e] Interesting to see that I have the Same Problem with my Farmall H-Series. I thought it might have to do with the Coil or Coil Wire, not so. After reading your feed back on this Post I will also replace the Fuel Line from the Filter to the Carb and see if it will continue to run, after I check to make sure I have Fuel flow.
