the coupling on my belly pump is very loose and making ratting noise. i have dropped the pump. the middle piece has some ware on it, not sure if it is enough to make a difference, did notice back and forth play in the shaft on the pump. was wondering if someone would know where i could get middle piece and if anyone has had the same problem.

I never heard of that wearing out,But a machine shop could make you a new one, and maybe make it oversize, you would have to bring in, the other piece so he could measure it

Find a good used, or have one made. Measure the diameter and buy a piece of radiator hose that diameter and long enough to cover
both couplers. split it and put it over the coupling. Use worm type hose clamps to hold it in place with the worms opposite each
other for a little balance. Jim

Have seen some badly worn couplings usually due to loose pump mounting bolts or a misalignment of pump to transmission probably from factory or broken mounting bolts that were drilled out to oversize.
