Tractors going to the scrap yard - ZIP 75094

These two old tractors (Farmall F12 and F20?) are about to go to the scrap yard. My friend's next door neighbor is about to send them there. He said the tractors could be had for the cost of hauling them off. I'd much rather see them go to a parts yard or get rebuilt than get see them get melted down.

The scrapper is going to haul them off in the next day or so. If you are interested, they are in Texas, north of Dallas, in the 75094 zip code. Email me if interested.

I was told you can't save them all! I do see lots of good part on both. If they where near me I would go get them.

That lumbar support back-rest on that one seat is the handiest thing ever. Someone oughta grab that.

Those rear centers on the Regular might be narrow tread cutdowns.
F-12 has a hydraulic lift, someone should save that. I'm too far away,
it would be nice if he could wait just a little bit.

I would be very surprised if anyone was looking for those tractors. Some of those parts maybe but it just seems to me the interest in those old tractors Is dying out. Sad as old people pass on so do the old stuff they remember. just part of life. Rebuilding one of those would not be cost feasible at all. Next time when the scrap metal prices get hi you will see all those old tractors like that melted down. IF someone could use them they should do so. cheap enough. I went to a tractor show in September. Saw couple of those for sale. Good looking old running tractors. Believe the guy wanted 1200 for one. He never did get it sold. Saw an old model t ford. Very nice looking and running car. 8500 or it. never did sell. The young people could care less about these things anymore. Times are changing aren't they,

The tractor on the bottom pictures is a "Farmall Regular". One part that is hunted is the spark arrester that some folks call the exhaust pipe. But more than likely it would be broken before you could get it off the exhaust manifold. Too bad to let them go, but they should have been gotten a lot of years ago to make it worth while.

Take the hole thing in one piece. Manifold, potato and carb. Engine internals are getting pricey now, Pistons sleeves.
Tall air breathe pipe with top and screen, also any brass fuel bowls and fittings.
