IH464 Gas - Lever Question - What is it?

I have an IH464 gas tractor.

I have figured out most of the leavers on the tractor, but one alludes me.

There is a lever on the Right hand side below the Draft, 3 Pt Hitch and PTO controls. If I engage it the tractor almost dies (I am usually in low idle). It appears to be a hydraulic engager lever or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I guessing you are pulling the Remote Hydraulic outlet control valve lever and since there is nothing connected to the remote hydraulic outlets(rear of tractor) you are "Dead Heading" the hydraulic system until the hydraulic relief valve trips (buzzing sound). The lever should have 3 position Float/Down/Up.
An Operator's Manual would be a good investment. 454 and 464 and same tractor but 464 has more HP.
