Super M propane?

Did IH ever make such a tractor. One advertised on Craigs list. Decal only says M in the picture.

Yes, I have several decorating my property. Most of the ones you will find are stage 2 (live hydraulics). I've only seen one stage 1 and it's sitting in my yard.

The tank will be "East/West" and made by Tulsa Tank. Any "North/South" tank Super M's are conversions. I've seen one conversion with an "East/West" tank that was a dead ringer for a factory one, even at 10 feet. An "N" or "C" suffix on the serial tag will tell you if it's factory propane too.

Centex I know of another stage 1 in Arkansas it's is a legit stage 1 with proper coding. It is for sale.

F-9756 J for sale in Wisconsin. Know of one in Ohio, 27xxx. May have some others noted if I take time to look.

I always heard that until mid way thru the 400 production true propane heads weren't available. I thought that IH used an outfit in Lubbock, Tx to do conversions for them. Don't know for sure though.
