does anyone know where its located hydrolic filter... I looked all over.
There has to be one since I can buy a filter?

I can just replace the oil? I don't know if it's ok lol

Been a few years since I worked on a 340.
I believe it is under a six bolt oval cover in front of the brake pedals.

Just looked at parts diagram on CaseIH parts. It also depends on the serial number of the tractor. The one I worked on had it in front of the brake pedals, yours may be different.

ty i will look tomorrow..

Inside a cover with about 6 bolts like others said. A trick I was told by an IH farmer was to drain out 3-4 gallons to get the
crud and water if there is any, then drive the rear tire on the filter side up on a ramp or good blocking, something safe. that
will allow you to take the cover off without draining all the oil if you weren't planning on changing it. If you drain the 3-4
gallons into a nice white bucket you can get a good idea of it's condition, if it looks bad you should change it all.
