Hey guys im looking to buy this baler and they say it is almost 9' wide, which is hard to put on a trailer, so i want to pull it behind my truck, does the hitch move to a position where it is straight behind the truck? also its a 4 hr drive, what size are the wheels and tires so I can put new ones on for the trip?and then put the originals on when i get home?

The hitch should swing to a position which will make the balers left side almost line up with the
left side of your truck. Make sure you check the wheel bearings and make sure they have enough grease
for a trip like that. If they are greasable, stop and grease them a few times.

="casenkris"; per the Operator's Manual and Blue Ribbon Service Specsifi........: overall width - eight feet; overall length 17 feet five inches; weight with pto drive 2,460 pounds; transport speed - not over 20 m.p.h. tires and pressures - right wheel (5.00-15 four ply ribbed, implement) 28 pounds; left wheel (6040-15, six ply ribbed, implement) 40 pounds; if equipped with dual wheel, same as right wheel.

Good luck with your towing project. We like photos.

I've towed several balers over 100 miles with no problems. Just be sure you have good tires and the wheel bearings are good and greased. I drove around 40 to 45 MPH. The wheel bearings are (tapered roller) the same type as used on utility trailers.
