Where would the SN tag be? I thought they were by the steering box on the front axle, but don't see a place for it on this one.

Gene - without the hood how can you tell if its a Super A vs a 100. Just curious as I have a 100 and from the picture I can't see a difference. I know there is not much difference between the 2 models.

The grill on a 100 is a totally different design from the Super A and the tie rods on a 100 are of a newer style as well.

It's a Super A. It has the small steering wheel 15 inches in diameter. SuperA1 and later had a 18 inch diameter steering wheel. S/N tag should be on the seat support by the transmission.

Agree on a Super A. It is a 1948 to 1951 build also. You can tell by the hydraulic reservoir which has the expansion plugs on each side as can be seen in the first and third photo. For 1952 and after IH did away with the expansion plugs. Furthermore, it has the turned down steering arms. These were replaced at the beginning of 1952 with the straight out forward steering arms.

That should read the second and fourth photo instead of first and third.
