I?m kind of going with the vet?s question of what is wrong with that the originals. These engine turn slow and produce low power, rod bolts in them are 99.5% failure free. Small block Chevys built to put out 7-800hp at 7000 rpm use the same size bolts. But if you insist CaseIH online parts shows the bolt and nut for $1.69 ea. See link, no guarantee they are available from IH or if that price is correct. And if you really want to go all out Farmalxl partsx .com shows some for $95.86 each. And they specify it is only the bolt, no nut and the price is for one???

Bolts were damaged by previous owner to the point I cannot get a correct torque reading. Last week 1 bolt and nut combination ordered from Case-IH was $50.00.
Will check out the Chevy rod bolts.
