A friend of mine past away and his family is selling his tractors. One that he has is a older restoration 10 20 orchard with all the sheet meatal. It is running on full steel. They have offered it to me. What would be a fair price to offer? Thanks Steve

all depends on the restoration as people called painted tractors restored.depends on the sheet metal also. with out pictures its all a guess. it could be 1500.00-2000.00 it could be 7-8000.00 any old tractor in good condition is worth the most money in its original state. an amature paint job will devalue it. when u have a valuable unit you want it professionally done to keep the value.

Good advise<There was a IH auction in Frederick MD a couple years ago,I sent a 10-20 to the sale that looked like junk,The motor had been torn down and rings and head reworked but was never started and There was a tractor that looked like a shinny penny, and my junk out sold it

Pictures would be good, and a close look. Thats what it takes for me to price one,
especially if the owner doesn't price it first. If there are unknowns, like if they
won't start, run and drive, you can price accordingly because it can be like a box of chocolates.
BUT, a good set of steel wheels and orchard sheet metal on top of a 10-20 with all the
correct pieces is worth more than yer average 10-20, which can go from 1000-2500 depending
again on condition.
