I recently bought a very nice restored 806 Farmall. Everything seems ok, starts and runs and does it all ok, at least right now. I wanted to check the potency of the Anti-Freeze before cold weather hits, and discovered the water is below the core, nothing in top tank. When I got the tractor, I added a little coolant, it was a bit low. I disked with it about an hour and parked it. I noticed it pushed a little coolant out the overflow tube, not too worried as I have a 8-N that will eliminate a bit of water if over filled. I figured the 806 might be just seeking it's own level and not to worry. But I got a ladder, climbed up to look with a flash light, the tank was empty, core tubes visible. Oil level is right, so it's not in the oil pan thankfully. Could it be needing a new radiator cap?. (maybe wishful thinking)Your thoughts please.
