farmall 100 hood

The hood on the farmall 100 distillate for sure has 3holes for the FARMALL emblem 3 holes each side. The hood on the farmall 100 that is not distillate has 5 holes for the FARMALL emblem both sides. Thanks for reply Jim Beckor,RTR, Barnyardengineering. RTR did you check your 100 distillate emblem holes?

I sure haven't. I have another regular 100 hood, a 130 hood, and a couple of 200 hoods I can also check. Things are so busy by the time I get by my grandfathers place I absolutely forget to look. I will be there this evening working on a Farmall 140 and will try to remember to take a look!

Here is what I found. I looked at (2) Farmall 100 tractors I have (one was the distillate model) and they both had (3) holes for the "Farmall" emblem. I also looked at a Farmall 200 and a Farmall 230 tractor and they both had (6) holes in the hood for the "Farmall" emblem. Hope that helps. Pictures are attached of them in the next post (One Farmall 100 is not pictured).

Maybe just me, but I can only see 5 holes in those 230 hoods.

My mistake jim. Yes 5 holes, not 6. I took the pictures last week and for some reason remembered it to be 6. Thanks for catching that.
