Anyone know if Allan is still on here? I've not seen anything of him for awhile and I sure miss his guitar videos.

I waited to post hoping some one would have knowledge. I'm about 400 miles away from him but remembering from before, he moved to the ranch after his house burned. I believe it is 20+ miles from town and having been in the area 45 years ago he is in rather desolate country and probably has little or no internet service. Never had the pleasure of meeting him but always enjoyed his posts. Leroy

I've kinda missed him too. I believe he's somewhere south of Chadron.

My wife and I were through that area a year or so ago, but we were on a tight schedule. We had a meeting in Gordon on a Friday evening, and then had to be in Scottsbluff at 9:30 the next morning.

On the 55 mile drive from Ellsworth to Gordon, once we left Ellsworth it was 23 miles before we saw anything else on the road, and that was a tractor and baler. In the entire 55 miles, we saw one passenger car, two pickup trucks, and three farm tractors on the road. When I commented on it on this forum, Allen said, "Dang, everyone must have been out that day. We've gotta do something about all that traffic".
