Green Diamond

I pulled a green diamond flathead 6 out of my shop yesterday; the engine had been in there for 60 years. My dad had apparently made a stationary engine out of a McCormick Deering tractor. The engine is mounted on a frame with a MD hood and radiator shell. The engine is free and turns. I'd like to sell it but have no idea as to its worth. Can anyone give me some info as to what I might sell it for? Thanks

I have seen this engine in a mid to late 40's truck. I believe a KB-5. estimate 1- 1/2 ton truck. I'm not aware of any tractor applications but may have been offered as an Industrial.

possible in combine. Does it have a governor or is throttle rod hooked direct to carb.? truck application probably would be ungoverned. found info that green diamond was built 1934-1949 , 3 sizes 175, 214, 233 cubic inches were listed as green diamond.

Where are you located? I have an old Ih truck that
has the green Diamond in it, but it is unfortunately
stuck. I may be interested in the engine.

(quoted from post at 11:32:35 11/07/17) I have discovered that the engine came from a McCormick Deering Harvester Thresher Model 122

Beautiful picture if Model 122 pulled by an M.

Is that your engine sitting on front top?
