Square head bolts

Well I pulled the rear tires and rims off the Farmall C.The bolts are in pretty bad shape. Can anyone tell me where I can find
1/2" x 2 1/2 " fine thread square head bolts.

Well to bad you need 1/2 x 2 1/2. I have a box of 1/2 x 2 . There are many more than I need for my project. I paid $.40 a piece for them from a local hardware store. They have the black oxide finnish on them. If anybody needs some of them I'll sell some of them.

Not familiar with C wheels but in a similar situation on M wheel weights, I reverse the bolts and use square nuts which are cheaper and easier to find.

On McMaster Carr being "proud" of their stuff. You would be too if you had to deal with an insane inventory with 10's of millions of items in stock, selling them 1-2 at a time, and getting the shipments out to customers in 1-2 days.

McMaster Carr is second to none when it comes to having what you need and getting it to you. Need a 9/16" grade 9 fine thread truss head bolt 2-3/16" long? They probably have it and it will show up on your doorstep tomorrow without paying for overnight shipping. Might cost you $20, but where else you gonna get it?

My experience:
I second the comments on McMaster Carr. They have a lot of strange stuff. They have always been quick when shipping to me.

Fastenal may have them. Will most likely have to order them and will cost more than MC.Master Carr.
