Farmall 756 Fast Hitch Education Needed

I am attempting to use my rear blade to do some grading around my barn. My fast hitch has been converted to have the 3 point top link and have a couple different pairs of the 3 point to fast hitch adapters. Is it possible to get down pressure on the blade? I have the operator manual and have it set up in the 'rigid' hitch position. whenever I lower the blade, it just drags along the top of the ground. If I lower the lift arms, the front of the blade rolls forward. I've tried to adjust the top link in order for it to dig into the ground..but, was unsuccessful. One thing to note is that the 3 point adapter bolted on the tractor for the top link has an upper and lower position. I currently am using the upper position. I was hoping to adjust the adjustable lift links to create the correct slope and grade the ground. Any advice or instructions would greatly be appreciated

One more semi related question..: I have the telescopic drawbar and am unable to slide it into the storage position. Looks like mud is jammed way back into the pocket. Is this pocket open up front for dirt to get in? What is a good way to bust it out?

No 'down pressure'.you need penetration, hang wts on the blade. The only tractors with down pressure is an H/M or similar with an aftermarket 3 point and two way cylinder. Some 300/400;350/450;460/560 could be pined to get down pressure. Maybe the blades cutting edge is worn out.Wont cut if the edge is shot/worn.use the bottom hole. Wont affect the penetration issue, but will lift the blade higher. There is a set of pins and holes to make the arms rigid. The pins may be gone.Pin them rigid and leave em rigid. The only time I've EVER needed the arms to flex was when I used a mounted 3 bottom rollover(two way) plow. Simple geometry.the front of the drawbar is closed. just reach in with a bar and dig it out. Take a garden hose and wash it out afterwards.
