I THINK THE FARMALL 300 MANUAL AND THE 300 INT UTITLIY ARE DIFFERENT. Are they the same as far as the trans, rear end. engine. The fellow I bought the 300 sent me an operators manual for a farmall 300. just wondered what was the differencw as I think the farmall is a row crop and the utility is not. thanks norm

The 'Farmall' is a rowcrop.tall with 38" rear wheels and adjustable axles. You sit up on top.can also have any one of 3 different fronts that are easily changeable.Wide,single,tricycle/dual.The 'International' will be the utility version. Short, squatty with 28" rears and wide front only. You sit low, straddle of the transmission. The motors are the same. the trans gears MAY be the same. the rear end and final drives ill be different, due to the different wheel sizes. Most other things are different between the two. If you buy an IT manual. It will have both tractors listed. As well as several different models. Order one from these guys (YT).BTW, A wheatland tractor will be also be 'badged' as an International,or McCormick Deering. An industrial will also be an 'International'.

No there are different operators manuals for the 300 row crop and the 300 utility. I have both and there are enough differences that IH produced two manuals. A 350 utility manual would also work as most items are the same. I would send the manual back and ask for either a 300 utility manual or a 350 utility manual. Al

Yes those parts are basically the same except gear ratio's may be different. Another difference will be the hydraulic setup as far as where reservoir, lines and valves are located.
