350 Utility

I just did some engine work on a friends 350U. After a test drive a noticed oil on the ground from backing it back from not the barn.
There's two drip holes between the trans and torque. I can't tell from the IT manual, is there a "dry" compartment between the trans and torque?
I want to remove the bottom plate to get an idea of where the oil is coming from but wanted some idea of what to expect.
Also, does the hyd have its own reservoir or does it use the transmission?
Thanks

on my 340 the oil in the transmission feeds everything except of course the motor. I would suspect if it is coming from the hole nearest the motor then a rear seal may be dripping. If its the hole closest to the trany then hat seal may be dripping. just my thought.

350u-----separate trans and hydraulic oil------ dry section between engine and trans holds engine clutch in bell housing and ta clutch in front of center section.

If the holes on each side of center housing just forward of the tee shaped plate on bottom? Oil is getting into the supposed to be dry T/A clutch compartment. Top cover on the center housing needs off to see what side the seal or seals are leaking on. If two holes is the source of leak on a utility though you just as well drop the center housing and replace all needed parts by the time the top plate can be removed. All seals but the front one require center housing to come out and the front one needs engine split from housing.

Thanks for the responses. I'll pull the covers to see what side it's leaking from. I'm hoping I can repair with just splitting in two sections and not having to drop the entire center section separately.

Spot check the oil dripping out onto printer paper and compare it to the engine oil if a match, probably a single split at the engine. (but as pointed out you will be 70% of the way to replacing the TA clutch and sprag clutch). Jim
