1066 shifting issues

I have a 1066 that I was using yesterday when the shifting gear lever stop working properly. I'm no longer able to shift between gears, it's as if something unhooked. The tractor is in 1st gear but the handle to switch gears just flops like a shear bolt or something unhooked inside. Any help on what I should be looking at would be appreciated.

Yeah it could be the linkage up on top there's a turnbuckle with in the linkage that could've ball could've came out of the socket and it could be the pin down below that goes in the transmission coupler

Mine did that and it was a sheared pin in the linkage below the shifter. there is a tube that fits over the linkage, if my memory is correct. there is a roll pin that sheared, I think.

Sounds like the pin at the top of the transmission broke. Just line it up and drive another one in there good to go. Can only be about 1-1/2 long or will hit on the side of the frame.
