Hi, I am new here even though I've ordered parts. My husband has died and I have 2 Farmalls that I'd like to sell. I have no idea where to start. I know with cars there is KBB but I'm not sure where to go to determine an asking price for these. Thank you for any help

I would just use Craigslist. It will host the photos for you.

If you want to use a forum I like to use Flickr to host photos, because its free.

These are pretty common tractors so search your local Craigslist site to see what others are asking for similar tractors.

That will give you an idea of the HIGH end of the price range in your area. Note that those tractors are still for sale, meaning the price is too high. If you want to sell quickly you need to sell for below those prices.

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

If you're not reading this in modern view, switch over to it. Then go to the "Site Comments" forum. At the top of the first page there is a thread titles "Can't upload Pictures". In that thread are detailed instructions by James Howell on how to upload pictures into your message. You may also need approval from the moderators since you are new to the site. Hope this helps.

Good luck, and hope you get your tractors sold.

I'm in Michigan. 15 minutes from Sylvania Ohio. The M has been in his family since the 50s, I believe. He bought the A in 1995 to mow our 10 acres in the thumb. I just joined a facebook group for old tractors, maybe they can help

something not what? I'm moving the 3rd of November, I need about all of the help I can get. I know if I were to sell a car you go to KBB and it gives you a range. I need to know if I price these the same way? Look at high and low and stick with something in the middle? Or does it add or devalue because there is a belly mower on one and a loader on the other? Comments like that might be helpful to a man because they may be able to guess your thought process, but to me, they are only frustrating. Sorry if I am offensive

best is to get pictures in the add. it gets the ball rolling. nobody wants a cat in the bag. advertize in the photo adds here. give all info you can on the units. if they are decent machines might get 4000.00 for both. stuff is not selling these days.

one is a Farmall A with a belly mower, he always used it. I learned how. It's an really good condition. The other is a farmall M with a bucket. I tried to figure out by the value page what I should list them for but wasn't sure. So then I saw this forum and decided to ask. I guess pick a mid range price from the low to the high value and list for that. I'm moving and will not have a need for them, otherwise I'd keep them. He died young, I don't think this is something he'd have thought to tell me. He still planned on using them. Thank you for the help

Well what do you have, but there is a place for complete tractor, [photo adds] and a place for non running, like a parts tractor, that's called [classified] off to the left of this page.
