Super M-TA part question

Hi everyone,
About 15 years ago I tore this tractor apart and it's been sitting in the machine shed since.

I just had the machine shop go through the engine with all new internals and I'm putting it back together. I need a few pointers on a few things.

I have a parts manual and an I&T manual. What is this Lock, Crankcase Front Screw they are talking about in this photo? If anyone has a photo of the front of this engine with the cover off that would be most helpful. I have a few buckets of bolts and I can measure most of them to figure out where they go some I'll have to ask. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if you mean the metal locks that bend to bolt head after installing bolts. If so they go on bolts retaining steel plate to block in camshaft and idler gear area. One edge of lock goes over the edges of steel plate near bolts and other side bent to bolt heads.

That must be it, I didn't know the camshaft spacer had those locks as well. Thanks, I'll have to get some, mine are missing.

I would think in current times one could use loctite on the fastener as a functionally equivalent substitute unless a 100 point resto is desired.

Two camshaft retainer and thrust plate bolts just used lock washers. If I remember correct two bolts under cam gear and two near idler gear used the lock plates. Probably IH used those for keeping bolts from backing off into back of gears if they came loose.
