governor on H

While I have the carb off my H is there anything I should look at on the governor. Just cleaning the carb as the needle valve aunder the float stuck on it.

Not really, unless there is reason to suspect the governor of something.

No problems, just in all my years i have never messed with one. I understand how they work in theory only.

If you look closely at the bolts holding the governor plate on, you may see they are original IHC dot-bolts with lock-wire holes drille3d in the heads. Purpose was to lock-wire them shut, keep us from messin' where we shound-na been a messin'.

Just make sure you get the linkage attached back up to the carb, it can be a little tricky.
